Andrew Lloyd Webber, Elvis Presley and Roy Orbison?? Really?

Recently asked:
Old School vs The Beats "Which sound do I prefer?"

Well, that would be like picking the favorite child...So, I simply cloned them into one track and this way, I will never have to choose!
You will simply have to hear for yourself what came from the project.

ENJOY

If I had my way........
DJ's should be REQUIRED to open a set with DRAMA...No matter if there is 1 or 10,000 there to hear it. It communicates pride, knowledge, a tell of what the next few hours may be about as well as presenting that crowd with a gift made JUST for them.
If I had my way.......hahahahahah

"NON COMMERCIAL" listen closely and you will hear from why it was the next evolutionary genre. Listen to the story and you will hear were its roots began.

Roger Ebert, a man I admired greatly, died this year.....

Of course I needed to find out what disease would do that to a persons face. I did some reading about what kind of cancer he had (thyroid) and to catch up on what he had been doing professionally. I enjoyed his work very much and as a teen I made it a point to watch his show weekly……..

“At the Movies”, He and Gene Siskol would review the same movie and give it a thumbs up or down and discuss why.

To me, it wasn’t important what they thought about a movie I would probably never see. In fact I can only recall one of his reviews. It was a German film “ DAS BOOT” about .the claustrophobic world of a wwii german u-boat; boredom, filth, and sheer terror. Two thumbs up, I was sold. Though I understood it was a German movie, I missed the part about it being a “German Movie” nur gesprochen Deutsch and not dubbed. Fortunately I did see a subtitled version, like reading a novel in 2 hours but an Amazing story that I believe won multiple Oscars.

Generally, they were in agreement and the reviews were similar. But when they disagreed it made sitting through an hour of boring reviews worth it all. Two writers with different and equally skilled prose. Making passionate arguments for why their position was correct like two determined terriers, choosing their words, each one of them very carefully.

“I can’t believe we were even watching the same movie!"
"Thats NOT what happened at all!!!!
”You’re just wrong and we’ll have to leave it at that and move on!”

Roger Ebert was skilled, passionate and iconic writer.
“….Roger Ebert?” you ask. REALLY??

I am not “ checking out soon” nor do I feel morose. I came across these two paragraphs. written in his last blog, 2 days before he died. I was inspired. I think you will agree that my dedication to him is worthy of our time when you read his words.

For the record, I agree with every word, sentence and thought contained in this proclamation.
He said…
"I believe that if, at the end of it all, according to our abilities, we have done something to make others a little happier, and something to make ourselves a little happier, that is about the best we can do. To make others less happy is a crime. To make ourselves unhappy is where all crime starts. We must try to contribute joy to the world. That is true no matter what our problems, our health, our circumstances. We must try. I didn't always know this, and am happy I lived long enough to find it out."
"I know it is coming, and I do not fear it, because I believe there is nothing on the other side of death to fear. I hope to be spared as much pain as possible on the approach path. I was perfectly content before I was born, and I think of death as the same state. What I am grateful for is the gift of intelligence, and for life, love, wonder, and laughter. You can't say it wasn't interesting. My lifetime's memories are what I have brought home from the trip."

Just one producers thoughts.

It was one of those mash-ups that simply EXCEEDED my original idea, This has only happened TWICE to me, while remixing Tracks.

I heard the mix the first time I played the tracks I simply knew it was right. THe tracks used are oceans and decades apart. One with "Miami Latin Sound" the other with soaring vocal "TRANCE." Not what usually fits together.....yet its as if they were written by the same elf in santa's workshop!,

Its TRANCE...IT COOL...ITS NEW and FRESH!

What is it, that Adolf Hitler and Martin Luther King could possibly have in common that would be relevant in the music of today?

You will find out in the first 5 minutes of the set. It is comprised musically of the DREAMS of humans; past, present.....and what I DREAMED of in the future. More than 90% of the tracks used to make the set were remixed by me. It was a chance to show off some of my most recent work.

Its my hope to have inspired: "GOOD DREAMS" and NOT Nightmares smiley
I hope you enjoy the set.
